George Latimer
County Executive
George Stephen Latimer has served as County Executive of Westchester County, New York since 2018.
“Westchester County is a unique place. Our home county is fortunate to possess a wealth of talented, successful individuals; a strategic location adjacent to New York City; geography blessed by rolling hills, the mighty Hudson River and lovely L.I. Sound. We serve as home to major U.S. corporations and just over one million people. Our task is to give Westchester the competent, forward-thinking government that residents deserve, at an affordable cost. I am honored to serve as your County Executive, and working with the Board of Legislators and other elected officials, we intend to do the very best job possible for our neighbors. Together, we will continue to make Westchester a destination for all people to live, work and enjoy all it has to offer.”
Bridget Gibbons
Bridget Gibbons is the Director of Economic Development for the County. Gibbons heads the Westchester County Industrial Development Agency (IDA) and Westchester County Local Development Corporation (LDC). The two agencies offer business resources, financial assistance, and a wide range of related services and incentives to help businesses and not-for-profits expand through construction and permanent jobs.
Shari Rosen Ascher
As the Director of Policy & Programs for Small Business and Chambers of Commerce for County Executive George Latimer, Rosen-Ascher is the liaison between the county government and all Chambers of Commerce and Business Improvement Districts in the county. With a goal of bringing back Main Street, she has become a trusted partner and resource to chambers and BIDs.
